Just got back from BB and its so annoying that BestBuy isn't carrying MI3 in stores. I was going to order online but it says sold out. At least I got Jack Reacher and MI4 and MI5.

To your point, pre-order can be frustrating too. My copies of Gladiator and Braveheart were delayed from Target....

But it does seem like your best bet is to pre-order early like you said, and then to hope online inventory comes back in stock (if you are unable to pre-order)!

I would expand this idea to - if you are thinking to buy something, especially catalog releases, then your best bet is to order it online. Catalog 4k releases are not guaranteed in any store. Some seem random, like my Target getting Fury 4k but nothing else (Matrix, Gladiator, Braveheart, Patriot, etc.). If Best Buy is not getting any in store, then chances are no store will get it. I realize though, that shipping is not always the best option for everybody.

In terms of new movies, typically new movies will get a 4k in store for 'at least' Best Buy. Wal-Mart seems to get more than Target. I am surprised when Target has a 4k in store, honestly.

There were five UHDs shoved in there, all with slipcovers beat to hell. If I didn't care about slipcovers, and was one of those crazy people on here that just threw them away, I'd pre-order everything.

No, USPS handles them just fine:



UPS just doesn't know how to handle envelopes. EVERY envelope that comes UPS from Amazon arrives like the previous picture, and USPS arrives like above. I've done probably over twenty returns just this year because of that.

Amazon has recently de-prioritized UPS as my main carrier from them, so they should pick USPS first now for my shipments.

Is Target using UPS Mail Innovations to ship your package? I wonder if this is saving Target more money with their free shipping offers. They used to be strictly UPS and deliveries were much quicker and on target (no pun intended) for estimated delivery dates, but ever since they switched to UPS Mail Innovations few weeks ago, shipments are slower with delayed estimated shipping dates.

Lol fair enough. I mean if it’s that frequent you have no choice. I would wait for the delivery guy in the bushes if he did that. I’ve only received 1 package like that and oddly enough it was when I ordered The Yakuza from the states. The mailman literally bent the case in half to fit it inside my mailbox. I was mad but couldn’t help but laugh when I saw it.

Perhaps it’s different in the states but up North we have very limited options when purchasing in store. We have Best Buy and Walmart, HMV closed 1.5 years ago and Target only lasted about a year. Guess I’m lucky my movies come pristine 99% of the time.

I ordered direct from them when these came out, not sure if they changed their policy.
