Silver Bullet already has a good enough release.

If they released the original Dawn and nothing else I'd be happy with that. If that's what it took to get Dawn to blu ray again.

Agree on Silver Bullet, but after getting the Italian 4K set of Dawn, I feel like that's the definitive presentation currently. It looks fantastic, has all the cuts, and great extras. I don't need another set, and most (but not all) who own the Italian 4K agree.

They could start by casting better than the original movie. Fred Gwynne was the only one who really gives a decent performance in the original.

Well Friday is our guess cause it's the last friday of the month then after holiday break for the guys they will give us the annoucements until the 13th.

The 13th? While we may get an announcement or two on the 13th (probably for after October), the month's announcements are generally finished by the 8th, since Amazon always have them up around then. As such, I would be very surprised if Shout didn't have their whole slate up by next Friday, going into the following Monday seems too late.

Silver Bullet doesn't have a Region A release though, even though the one available is Region Free, I'm sure some have been waiting for a Region A release.

From Beyond the grave i thought was disappointing when i like other Amicus stuff.

I don't don't see Scream being able to much more with it. Maybe a slightly better picture quality, but the region free release already has good features. You're not likely to get much better there since Haim is not alive to do anything for it.

Hi guys, just stumbled on this conversation. According to my records on BluRay.com, I bought Twilight Zone The Movie back in October 2016 from F.Y.E. for $4.97 new.

So this is OOP now? What's the deal on this early 80's classic anthology film?

As a fan of classic horror, it was most gratifying to see Scream put together some new supplements along with the existing ones for Curse of the Cat People; would like to see what they might put together for other Val Lewton productions as well as WB titles such as Mark of the Vampire, Mad Love or Dr. X (given the vintage of these titles, I realize it's a tall order...but they managed nicely with Curse).

As for WB titles that may come to fruition, I'd love a Blu for Hammer's Dracula A.D. 1972...and I'm always hoping De Palma's Femme Fatale might be in the cards (from Shout Select if need be).

The existing master is better than the DVD, but I wouldn't call it "good enough." There's a fairly pervasive vertical combing effect, possibly scanner noise, that may pose an issue on even modest displays.

I think FYE must've located a large surplus of dead stock in 2016, because it had been OOP for a while prior to that.

No kidding. It's a nice picture, no extras, but I always loved that movie. The "It's A Good Life" segment always entertained me, great recreation of that.
