Yeah, the show has done a much better job with the sex and violence. Some scenes and descriptions in the books are beyond gratuitous.

Does anyone know if this release is the 'George Bush Head' version or the subsequent re-release edited version?

I tried using search, but being such a vague topic I got no results.

The edited version. HBO is unlikely to ever release the Bush head version again.

You can't really even tell it's him, either. Heads and masks get reused all the time, like Michael Myers from Halloween is wearing a Captain Kirk mask. I also remember reading about a dummy of somebody getting used repeatedly on Grey's Anatomy, over the years. They're always out to save a buck.

They also edited the commentary to remove any mention of the Bush head.

Finally got around to pressing play on this. I've been holding out, waiting for my cousin who has NEVER even seen a second of GoT. He's on the line that hates fantasy, potions, and magic.

I made a small GoT Beginners Guide Playlist off YouTube to get him somewhat familiar, because lets be honest, the first 3 episodes are kinda overwhelming with names, locations, and alliances.

After the playlist, we only had time for the pilot. He's hooked, jamies push helped "pushed" everything up a notch.

Now i will say, as we know about the back and forth with formats on the Pilot, the actual transfer has to be considered A1. The extra layers, depth, and contrast are amazing. They really took the saying " squeeze every drop out" quite literally

TheSweetieMan, i was thinking about you the whole time(not like that, kinda), but i can't wait to clock out and head back to Westeros!!!! If only the seasons were to release within the next 6-8 months on UHD, it would def help and boost sales while we wait

1. If nobody bought the 1st season in UHD, then of course they won't release the subsequent seasons. They need sales numbers to justify the rest.
2. I now have season one of my favourite show in 4K.

Does someone have an UK copy? I want to know how the side looks (so if anyone has a photo?). Someone mentioned it doesn't have the ''season 1'', or ''first season'' on the side, is that true?
