I played this last year on my my, now deceased, XBOX 360. It is one of the best RPG's I've ever played and would love to see it on multi platforms.

I love this game and hope everyone gets a chance to play it. I recommend the two novels that came out too - 'Revelation' is the first, and a darn good read! Gives you a great first impression of the universe...

i know we have some damn good exclusives and great games in general but this game would be absolutley great on the ps3 and would most likely be packed with the bring down the skies content. Come on EA throw us a bone here!

Since it is an EA owned IP, I can't see any reason to keep it exclusive to any platform.

EA will be locking out a 25m+ userbase if they don't bring it to PS3. MS would have to pay a lot of money to keep this game exclusive, especially since EA's finacials have been on their way down recently.

I believe they are re-releasing the game for the Xbox as a 2 disc set next month and including Bring Down the Sky all for nice $19.99, according to Gamestop. I hope we get something similar.

Apparently the BioWare staff have locked a thread about this on the official Mass Effect boards. Their only comment is "we don't comment on rumors". That sort of response tends to get me to believe that it is true. If such a thing were completely false, why not just say so?

It would take too much time and effort to confirm/deny every rumor out there.

Part of me really don't want it on the PS3 as I spent many many hours trying to unlock every achievements in the game. I would hate to do the same for trophies.

Still an excellent game.

How much time and effort, really? "Mass Effect will never appear on the PS3." How long would that take to say and squash all the rumors if a port is not coming?

Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead, and Dead Rising are the only 3 games on the "shmeesissy" that I want to play. I'm already hearing rumors of Left 4 Dead being ported to PS3. Now if this comes to PS3 as well, that would be AWESOME! Day 1 purchases for me on both of those titles! I just hope they fix all the bugs that were in the original.

I hope this comes out for PS3. Never played it, but it looked interesting. I believe that it will come out. Bioshock was supposed to never be ported and it was. So there is hope.

Never is a dangerous word.. because never is never and from what I recall from another dev never is never used, as you never know what the future has in store...

I hope it comes to the PS3. I loved this game, and it easily became one of my favorite games of all time. If there's a way for more people to experience this game, then I'm all for it.

If you squash 1 rumor, then you have to try and quash all rumors and I'm not talking about just about rumors about the port as there are other rumors such as DLC 2 and who knows what other rumors are out there.

I will never buy an xbox just to play a game, I did buy this for the PC for $39.99 and it's a stellar game, DLC free with it too. They even changed the in game interface to work better, just another reason that xbox is a poor excuse for a gaming console, when most of its big titles make it to the PC sooner or later.

what annoys me with this game is that it plays like Gears of war, hence it's a shooter with RPG elements, not a RPG with FPS elements like it was advertised

In my opinion it plays nothing like Gears of War, and is in no way a shooter, thats like saying Fallout is an FPS first RPG second!

Mass Effect has elements of both, but is what I consider an RPG at heart!

Would be good to get it on the PS3, hope they will fix a lot of the bugs that still exist on the 360.
