Someone mentioned that he/she saw an UK copy of S1 without a mention of season 1 on the side. Since I wanted to order one from the UK that was a surprise for me (no season 1 on the side would be a no-go for me aswell), but I just wanted to make sure. There's nothing more to it than that

The old HBO TV DVDs (e.g., The Sopranos, which first came out over here in snapper cases, and the likes of Six Feet Under) used "Series One" etc., before Warner/HBO UK migrated to using Season... Buena Vista did similarly (and for longer - the complete LOST blu-ray set has a mixture of Series and Season on each title, and due to the out-of-order releasing, it's not a smooth transition

IMO:
- should use Season if it's a US show
- should use Series if it's a UK show

So Downton Abbey most definitely has six series. But Game of Thrones has (so far) seven seasons.

I got my Season 1 set around a month ago, are there any news for more seasons being released on UHD BD?
When they released the series on Steelbooks and with Dolby Atmos audio track, they released all seasons at once?

Yeah that was me, sorry. I went into HMV and saw loads on the shelf without any indication of season on the side. They must have just been display cases and not the actual 4K Blu-ray. I'm glad they do have it on the side, it would have been make or break for me if it didn't.

They released the steel books sporadically, not all at once.

Let's hope we get at least one or two seasons more for X'mas season.
This first season on BD was the worst looking of all, I think because of the use of Sony HDCAM SR which is a tape format and long obsolete, and it still looked good on UHD BD mainly because HDR.
The later seasons were shot with some Arri Alexas and from season 5 on they also used the RED Epic Dragon in addition to the Alexas and they also improved the video formats used for post production, so they should look outstanding on UHD BD.

What of bunch of boring and forgettable shoe designs. Those are the kind of styles I buy for $35 at Nordstrom Rack to use for lawn mowing and yard work.
