Are they in Houston? Maybe they can call and confirm your setup.

Yep. They must be doing well with headphones/speakers as the two stores I've been in recently had a bunch of portable speakers and headphone aisles right as you come in and go past their cell-service center. I was looking for pencils for my iPhone since the Apple Pencil only works with the iPad Pro and the pencils/cases were behind two huge stereo/speaker displays.

We'll have to wait for Best Buy's Annoucement.
Brace yourself; you are going to hear two things you did not expect to hear from me.

Firstly, alchav21 is correct about the movie aisles at the Washington, UT location.

I finally reached an actual employee at the Washington, UT store; her name is Heather. She told me that their movie section has been reduced to just one cardboard display of new releases and a couple of bins with deeply discounted titles. She said their location was a small one and that this change occurred after the recent remodeling of the store. It was her belief that only some stores, not all, were doing this.

Secondly, I owe alchav21 an apology. I hereby formally and publicly apologize to you for accusing you of lying on this issue. You told the truth here.

I am ready to take my lumps.

Yeah, I hope they don't get rid of the bin. They have some awesome movies in it. (like The Prestige)

And to think all of that would have been avoided if you guys hadn't called and been weird in the first place.

Many of you folks lie and you know it. You buy UV/MA codes through various channels that were included with physical disc, go online and redeem said codes. In order to redeem said codes you had to agree that you that you owned that physical title which you clearly do not. No matter how you slice it, try justify it, it is still a lie.

The case of legally selling UV/MA codes should be determined in the near future.

I’ve just hit one Best Buy in our new area and the one in Longview had a interesting set up compared to the ones in Washington State. It was along the left side wall towards the back before games and collectibles. Back there they still had them behind cellular and the 4K display and bargain BD bin in TVs. Definitely felt smaller

I also go over the speed limit, take the tags off my mattress, don’t declare sales tax on my taxes, underestimate my weight on my drivers license, fart and blame it on the cat, tell someone their baby is cute when it’s actually a sea monster, smile at men I wouldn’t let see me naked to save my life because I’m being polite, claim I care about the environment but don’t really, I tell people I have excellent taste in music but will get down to Michael Bolton...

But I watched Infinity War today and paid full price. So there’s that.

When confronted, the people involved in your Amazon lawsuit would probably say something similar to your post to you. IOW, its OK for me to rip folks off but if they rip me off then its off to the police station or the lawyers office. Is that about right?

Yeah, that's exactly the same thing. Going 72 in a 70 zone is the same as allowing $3 million in counterfeits to be sold and not following the law as it comes to copyright notices. You got me! Because I'm not perfect I deserve to take that loss.

IMHO, if folks stick to verifiable facts then hopefully there will be less misunderstandings. Opinions are fine but let folks know when you post something that it is an opinion and if you believe it to be a fact then provide some kind of proof.

Acronyms that have been around a long time:
IMO = In My Opinion
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion

Oh, come on. I did say post, not that one line.

It seems clear to me that you redeem codes that I made reference too and that is OK (you are ripping off the studios) but you sue folks folks who rip you off. Seem about right?

I buy codes off Vudu and iTunes 90% of the time. I've got free codes on here from friends or bought some codes for films I already own but gave the digital copy away to someone else prior. Paid $19.99 for Infinity War at midnight. Thanks for the judgment!

Do you want the number to Vudu and my account info to verify it?

Nah, he just has a perfect moral compass. He never does or says anything wrong. I think we should feel blessed to be in the presence of such omnipotence.

It is that folks can not just be straight and go to great lengths of diversion and name calling to avoid a simple yes or no answer.

If you rip the studios off why not admit it. If you don't want to admit then why say anything?

This started because of: "Many of you folks lie and you know it." If there had been no response that would have been the end of it.

It is interesting that none have asked what I do .

Because we don't care?

If you would have focused on the last bit of my original post instead of my sarcasm towards your YOU LIE AND YOU KNOW IT! post it wouldn't have transpired. I pay full price for digital copies regularly. I stated I paid full price as recently as midnight for a digital movie. I've even seen movies on digital streaming services like the Power Rangers and Jumanji and went out to buy the disc sets for extra stuff or collecting purposes. Shocking.

I get that you're an older gent, but there's no cause to be so...uptight...about how people spend their money. Calling stores, accusations, salacious comments. Continuing this behavior doesn't really make those willing to transfer to other types of media care if you continue to have your preferred choice.
