JW: Fallen Kingdom, regardless of how one feels about it, was/is nowhere near as hyped or as profitable as the last film was.

Jurassic World was the highly successful revival of a popular franchise that had been dead for 14-years, Fallen Kingdom is just another sequel.
14-years of anticipation makes a huge difference.
