I have been trying to see if I can get a copy of the 3D, but Best Buy took it off their website and don't carry it in stores. Trying also to find a reasonably priced one is kind of difficult, as well.
I ordered the 3D edition from Amazon.uk; it came to $21.66 + shipping making it about $25 total. It looks to be region free despite what the product listing page claims. Warner Bros. 3D releases have been reliably region free. I will know soon enough as my copy arrives this week.

I order most of my Warner Bros. 3D titles from Amazon.uk because the prices are much more reasonable there:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Look at the back cover image; there are no region symbols whatsoever; a pretty good indicator that it is region free.

Yeah, I just ordered the 3D version from Amazon. Couldn't resist checking it out. If I prefer it to the 4K, I might just sell that disc on. Will arrive on Thursday, so I'll see soon enough.

I just watched the 4K of this last night, pretty great and definitely reference audio. I still prefer the 3D version but I always do.

If anyone is looking for it, I have an extra sealed Target Exclusive 4K with the Exclusive Lenticular Slipcover and Bonus Disc. Feel free to PM if you want it otherwise I’ll return it in a few weeks.

Still drowning in video games at the moment. I want it to stop! Mommy make it stop! *sigh*

I'd love to keep returning Wonder Woman and Dark Knight to get working discs but eventually Best Buy said no and that it must be my equipment. I don't blame them, 5 versions not working is pretty crazy. I've also read around the 'net that I'm far from the only one with an X800 who has issues with random Warner discs. Thankfully for me it's only two releases I guess.

I redeemed the DK movies on Vudu in UHD, I just haven't gotten around to testing them out there yet. Would be my first UHD stream.

Yeah, that X800 is a funky player. I’d replace it pronto.

It's exactly the same disc all over Europe. Only the covers are different.
I believe UK/Germany has a separate disc with fewer options but they're always like that.

Let me know what you think of the 3D. I won't sell my copy of the 4K, since I think it looks lovely in its own right, but I may get off the fence if this ends up being as good of an experience or better.

Yeah I had one just stop playing UHDs altogether and this is my replacement. It's not a great player but since I'm mostly focused on gaming lately a new player is kind of a back-burner thing.

Bought the Target 4K exclusive, Standard 3D and The French 4K/3D Steelbook.

Is the Target exclusive bonus content on disc? They are sealed still (steelbook on the way) so trying to determine what to open and what to return as I did not cancel some orders in time.

Thanks, now have to decide to keep the steelbook sealed and return the standard 3d or the other way around.

It took two weeks and as many phone calls but Best Buy finally processed my price match from the price glitch fiasco two weeks ago. I can finally move on with my life!

Anyway, I like this movie more and more every time I see it. It's just a lot of fun. One of the things I appreciate most is that I desperately wanted to enjoy the book since I thought it was a great concept, but I thought the writing was bad and the whole thing was bogged down with all the references and exposition. I mostly felt annoyed while reading it. But with the movie, you get the references and the amazing world without (as much of) the ham-fisted story-telling. The whole thing is just much more stream-lined. And it's just a really nice looking and sounding UHD, to boot.

My wife would agree whole-heartedly about the book. There was just too damn much exposition that was "necessary" to describe the references.

I just watched this again last night and it definitely does gets better and better every time for me, too. I can catch more easter eggs!

I just watched the 3D version and it was a much better experience for me personally. Awesome 3D effects that made the film so much more immersive and enjoyable a ride. Quality of the picture is still outstanding especially in the OASIS scenes. It was definitely made with 3D in mind. This will now be my go to version. Might pass the 4k version on to a friend or just keep it, I'm not sure yet.

Dammit. Was half hoping your impressions of it wasn't going to be all that great. Whelp... here we go... gotta go order it now... haha

Self control is so overrated.
