The Best Buy Exclusive with Bonus Disc is back in stock if anyone's interested. Best Buy removed it from its website for a while.

Finally bought the Target Steelbook and watched this one.

The "Flowers for Algernon" angle was an odd way to go, but Renner sold it.

And proved that he can carry a movie and play a bad ass.

He and Weisz had great chemstry, glad they didn't jump into a romance quickly. But subtle hints were dropped, showing that it will happen in the future.

At times Renner reminded me of Daniel Craig, a younger version.

Wonder if was kinda weird for Rachel at times, since she's married to him in real life.

I saw this on HBO and liked it more than I thought I would. They're certainly set up for a more attack orientated Part II (or would it be V?) - with or without Matt Damon (although with would be better). Extra special mention kudos to Edward Norton!

It's gone again. Is the extra content worth searching for? Is it the only extra content version?

Found a copy of the Best Buy exclusive version among the used Blu-rays at my local FYE. After store credit it came out to $3.58. Haven't checked to see if the iTunes and UV copies were redeemed or not (the slip is still in the case), but if they're still use-able then this is easily one of the best used purchases I've ever made.

Wasn't a huge fan of the movie when I saw it theatrically last year (I think I dozed off at one point...), but it's a decent action flick and one that I don't mind having for so cheap. Plus, I'm such a sucker for retailer-exclusives haha

Brought back this thread from the dead.

Got the Best Buy Exclusive from eBay and didn't had to pay a ridiculous price.

Now to depart of my Target Exclusive steelbook which has been collecting dust with my other steelbooks.

Just revisited this film the other day. I have always liked this film despite the mostly negative reaction that it received when released. Judging by the date of the last entry on this thread, there hasn't been much to talk about regarding this film in some time. Watching it again the other day, I have always wanted to see a resolution to the Renner character as this film does have the type of ending that seems to set up a sequel to this story. I know that there was talk of combining the Renner character into a film with Damon but the last Jason Bourne movie did not go there. I would still like to see this story played out so perhaps Tony Gilroy could make that happen.

I actually liked this one much more than the last Jason Bourne film.

Jason Bourne didn't do too hot at the box office either so I doubt we ever see another movie, at least without it being a reboot.

Yep; most likely because it wasn't very good and that does hurt the chance for another one. But if they could make a compelling film with the two characters, and it received good word of mouth, they might be able to pull off a successful wrap to the current series of films. I agree with your point though that the failure of the last one jeopardizes the chance that what I suggested will ever happen.

$415 million worldwide against a budget that was only about $135 or so sounds decently respectable.

Honestly I think the original trilogy wraps itself up extremely well, so I tend to just ignore the other two, continuity wise.

Watched this yesterday. I thought it was pretty good. Hadn't seen it since the release. On par with the others as far as I remember. Ultimatum was the best, and Jason Bourne was not good.
I did think the bike chase scene was a little long. Thought it was the right path to take for (at the time) Matt Damon not being in the movies.

It’s extremely underrated due to a pervasive knee-jerk “no Damon, no sale” mentality.

I liked this movie a lot. After the initial Bourne trilogy was nicely wrapped up, I thought this was a good beginning to a new series of films. Instead, we got Jason Bourne, which was needless and largely worthless.

I remember seeing Bourne Legacy in the theaters and not liking it at all. A couple of months ago, I watched all my blu-rays for the series, including Legacy, and it made more sense to me this time around, and I actually liked it a lot more.

I agree that Ultimatum was the best, and Jason Bourne was lacking quite a bit. I hyped to see the film and walked away feeling a little unsatisfied. It wasn't the worst film I've ever seen, but it could've been a lot better.

I loved the last Jason Bourne. It did exactly what I said it would. I get that times may have changed and it didn't break new ground so some people were let down. I just think it was a great addition (and potentially ending) to the franchise.

This one is pretty good too but I wouldn't say I liked it better.
