The term "HD" can be a bit misleading. Technically, macroblocked 720p is still HD.

Anyway, I really don't understand why people rent movies. I guess it's a bit better when you're on a monthly cost rather than a per movie payment system, but I still don't get the appeal. You're losing money without gaining anything tangible. Sure, you get to see the movie, but just until you send it back. It just seems like such a waste to invest so much money in something and have nothing to show for it at the end of it.
