Default Re-watchability Question

Am I the only one who rarely re-watches anything by themself? The only exceptions are if I haven't seen it in a while or if I didn't get it the first time.

Otherwise I don't re-watch anything except when with a friend. I could easily watch a good movie five times if five friends wanted to see it. Otherwise once is enough.

Why I ask is I know certain people watch their favorite movies 10, 20, and even 30 times. I don't really get how =o.

I end up rewatching movies all the time, since they are usually better then anything on television. I wouldnt buy them if I didnt get my use out of them.

For me, it all depends on what kind of mood I'm in. There are certain movies that I only would watch again so my friends could see them, but others I could watch over and over. At the moment, Tropic Thunder comes to mind. I don't care if friends are around to watch it with me. Everytime I watch it gets funnier. Robert Downey Jr. did a great job in this picture.

I couldnt agree more, that movie is not only hilarious, but it is incredibly well acted.

i watch a lot of movies early in the morning or late @ night when my little man wakes up and doesn't want to sleep anymore.

throw in a movie, make a bottle, hold him and let him eat and fall asleep while i'm enjoying my movie.

I only buy a movie if I know I will be watching it more then 5 time, otherwise I won't buy it. Heck I can't even count how many times I've seen Star Wars, buy the time I was 14, I had seen it something like 100 times, I am now 41 so you can imagine the number

the last 3 weekends have been ep. 4, 5, & 6 for me. but yes, i agree w/the comment of only buying movies i know i'm gonna be watching more than once.

another previous post had it right too. a lot of times, any movie in my collection is gonna be better than whats on tv.
