The projector image looks really faded and washed out in comparison. But again, I also didn't have the ideal setup for it.

It tends to be a preference though. If you're trying to replicate the theater experience, and not necessarily have the clearest, sharpest picture possible, that's what a good home theater projector does well.
Exactly, for me picture quality is way more important than size so my OLED TV is all I need, I understand some folks like HUGE screen better but it's not my case, all I need is a crystal clear picture. I think 65 inches is pretty small though but I didn't have 20k+ to unfold for a 77 wallpaper OLED last year, this year they have 77 in the C8 series at a reasonable price point but it's too late I bought a C7 last year.

Hey, it's Universal Studios, did you really expect anything decent?

Predator 4K trilogy set better?

Size matters.

Let's not speak for all projectors. A JVC with over 100,000:1 native contrast in the proper room can hold its own pretty well to an OLED. These images also represent what I see on my RS440 although my blacks don't match the RS500 (seen in the pics), but are still very good.

The problem is, damn few people have ever seen a very good projector in a very good room. When people hear "projection" they think crappy commercial theatrical projection, bars, school, business projectors, etc.

Be sure to click the spoiler tags in his thread for more pics.

You have to pay the Geoffy Vision licensing fee first.

It's bit like the hover conversion ad in BTTF 2, it'll only cost you $39,999.95

I'm going to have to start saving my lunch money again.

Anyway, in all seriousness, I picked up the 3D box set with JP1 in 3D and Jurassic World in 3D, otherwise I'd probably be all over this. I'm still surprised how well JP holds up in 3D, like it was born for 3D, but that's Spielberg for you. JP has had a long and rocky road on Blu-Ray -- initial blu-ray release that was heavily criticized, then the 3D version which - well - is in 3D and is a whole different animal, even including visual f/x enhancements like rain and debris to help sell the illusion, but people seemed to prefer the color timing of that version. So now here we are again, with the 4k issue...did they just re-use the master from the 2D blu-ray and upscale it? Is that what happened, or does it have its own unique set of problems?

You already have the essential, this 4K collection is like adding extras; some people like those kind of visual extras. Some people can't stand 3D so this 4K set is like no-brainer to them, but The Dark Knight 4K trilogy it ain't.

And for people who value more audio than visuals (Atmos, DTS:X & Auro-3D), there is nothing here for them, same as The Predator 4K trilogy.

And for the true hardcore Jurassic Park fans, mainly the first one, which you already have in both 3D and 2D Blu-ray; hard core fans will still get this 4K collection, it's an addiction. ...Ask me. It's like wanting a Bugatti to go downtown on Saturday nights...same same thing.

Would love to grab this at the current price but will show restraint and wait until the new trilogy is complete.
