TWO of the titles on your list are with KL.
That eliminates 6, and I assume Slaughter's Big Rip Off would go to Olive, I'm betting on HIGH BALLIN' and maybe A SMALL TOWN IN TEXAS.

Big Trouble (2002)
with optional English subtitles
• NEW Audio Commentary by Director Barry Sonnenfeld
• 5.1 Surround & 2.0 Stereo
• Theatrical Trailer

Color 85 Minutes 1.85:1 Rated PG-13
From Barry Sonnenfeld, the director of The Addams Family, Get Shorty and the Men in Black Trilogy, comes this hilarious action-comedy with an all-star cast that includes Tim Allen (The Santa Clause), Rene Russo (One Good Cop), Stanley Tucci (Big Night), Tom Sizemore (Strange Days), Johnny Knoxville (Men in Black II), Dennis Farina (Out of Sight), Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), Janeane Garofalo (Mystery Men), Patrick Warburton (TV’s Seinfeld), Zooey Deschanel (500 Days of Summer), Omar Epps (Juice), Jason Lee (Mallrats), Andy Richter (Cabin Boy), DJ Qualls (Road Trip) and Sofia Vergara (TV’s Modern Family). Big Trouble has something for everyone, as it follows the fast and furious comedic chaos created when a mysterious suitcase that threatens the security of Miami changes the lives of a divorced dad, an unhappy housewife, two hitmen, a pair of street thugs, two love-struck teens, two FBI agents and a psychedelic toad.

Attachment 207138
I find it interesting that the #1 selling point for me is edited out of the artwork. Sofia Vergara

As much as I like STREET PEOPLE, I hope it's not from KL because the AIP title is cut by at least 5 minutes (according to IMDB, Street People is 92m, the uncut is 101). The uncut version has a different title (I think The Executors or Sicilian Cross).

Runaway Train

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
Boxcar Bertha
Theater of Blood (may be now with Shout! Factory though)
Scream and Scream again (see above)

Now these are may need new HD transfers or already have ones MGM recently made

Jenifer on my Mind
Call Me Bwana (supposedly has a new MGM HD master going by HDTV sightings in Australia)
The Happy Theives
Three Sunday's to Live
Rise from The Ashes (SF may already have this one too since it may not have a HD master).
C.H.O.M.P.S
Pray TV (1980 Filmways production with Dabney Coleman)
Gas Pump Girls
The Happy Hooker
The Happy Hooker Goes to Washington
Happy Hooker Goes Hollywood

Again, just curious...
We also released RUNAWAY TRAIN and HOW TO SUCCEED on DVD. One of those former TT titles is on our list and we may add one more. CALL ME BWANA is with Shout. None of these others are with us.

Yes, both BRANNIGAN and JUDGMENT were sold out. INHERIT was not, there was a misunderstanding between the three parties, us, the studio and TT.

The original had an HD master, the sequel didn't. None of our Blaxploitation films have sold well on BLU, so we've passed on both more than once.

I know that unfortunately. If KL was smart enough to snag High Ballin' it will be a huge seller.

Also, does anyone know the status of Bring me the Head of Alfred Garcia? I doubt KL has plans to release a BD unless they happen to confirm (even though they also put it out on DVD a while back), though I did hear plausible tidbits that Arrow has it and are planning a US port of their 2017 4k remastered UK disc.

If i'm not mistaken, Return to Macon County is actually with Max Baer Jr's estate, which was where Shout Factory licensed Macon County Line from. I suspect they have plans to get that one out in the future, provided MCL sold well enough to encourage the parties to sort out any legal issues and find usable film elements for Return.

The US Blu distribution rights are still with TT. For TT, titles are licensed for one payment up front and when the copies are gone so is the license. It's incredibly rare to have dueling, same territory, releases by two different boutique labels. KLI had stated that "Inherit the Wind" was a misunderstanding but that doesn't matter because the TT sold out one month before Kino's release. Also I don't see any evidence that Arrow is considering a US release but that's a matter for another thread.

I thought it was still with MGM and the music soundtrack rights was what was holding it up.

Whoa, whoa, breaking news here for us Bob Hope fans. Bwana is with Shout? Nice! I was hoping you Kino guys would put it out but hey, at least it's coming. I know you guys have other Hopes up your sleeve anyway. Thanks for this tidbit of info. Not Bob's best to be sure but the first half has some good belly laughs.

Twilight Time's Encore Edition hasn't sold out yet. Though if I had guess it will soon sell out as its sold out at TT.

That’s disappointing. You’ve released some good ones and I’ve done my part buying them all so far.

I'm surprised that TRUCK TURNER didn't sell well... that's in the same league of the classics that KINO didn't release such as Foxy Brown, Slaughter, Shaft, Coffee, etc.

That's not quite right. The license is for three years exclusivity; it expires after three years, whether the titles sell out in one year or never. (However, if TT can't sell 3000 copies in three years, it's pretty unlikely anybody else would license the film.) There have been individual exceptions to this, such as "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?", where Sony traded something in exchange for cancelling the exclusivity. (With regard to "Alfredo Garcia", I would assume that the license is renewed for the Encore Edition, but I don't know that for sure.)

Were some of the faces cut from the BIG TROUBLE cover for any legal purposes? I can't help but think of who is missing and how many of them have become much bigger since this film was released.

I want The Princess and the Pirate so bad. The DVD is a mess. Its the first Bob Hope movie I ever saw as a kid and I have been a lifelong fan ever since and I collect his movies....
