Hahaha

Honestly, I would buy the Arrow edition if I was region free... I just like their LE packaging better.

Still waiting for the Scream release to appear on amazon.ca...

I also purchased ROTLD II directly from Shout but it felt like I threw money away after I ended up spending $32 on it after shipping and taxes. I'm already thinking about not purchasing Texas Chainsaw Next Gen at all. The Evil and Valley Girl are currently my only "must buys" so I'll have to splurge on those but that's it. Creepshow is a "maybe".
Just as an FYI "The Evil" is currently cheaper if you buy on Amazon Canada. Even with the substantial shipping charge to the US, it still comes out to less than what you would pay by buying directly through Shout or if you could even get it through Amazon US. Here is the link:

Im making a big mistake but since were so friendly, heres the link pal! It should be going up soon!

The earlier you order the better. I snagged Creepshow for 30.17 and the next day it went up to 39.99. Thats 23 usd before shipping but everyone was too busy whining to notice!

About $30 dollars total after shipping from half way across the world, which will probably be a better release. So if I ordered directly from SF it will be about $42 total within America. That's a pretty big difference. Hey of you're rolling in money or if someone's such a fanboy they'd bend over at any price, that's them. Some of us enjoy having choices and seeing retail companies compete for dollars at decent prices.

Amazon (with free shipping) would be close to $38. More if you don't get free shipping.

Am I the only one that thinks it's sad that an American has to order an American made release from another country, just to get a decent price on an American made product?

Jim Wynorski is a great guy, but not a credible source as far as his films actually being released on home video. He has made several announcements over several years that proved to be inaccurate.

FYI - Another friendly Canadian here. Not sure if it comes out to a better price than you've seen down there, but Hell Night and Land of the Dead are both $17.99 CAD right now. That's the cheapest I've seen on a Shout title up here in a very long time.

On another note...The Critters box set is $79.99 CAD. Looks like I'll be waiting for a price drop on this one unfortunately. Not terrible considering I think it's about $70 USD. Seems expensive given the It's Alive box set was only $40 CAD.

His main issue seems to be revealing plans VERY prematurely. He "announced" Chopping Mall about 3 years before it actually came out. I chalk it up to extreme enthusiasm, which is refreshing to see coming from a B movie director. A lot of these guys like to pretend their movies never happened. Like Peter Jackson

The [REC] collection is also only $41.99...

The Critters set is definitely a little too highly priced for my liking.

Thanks for the Heads Up. I'll be picking up Hell Night at that price, right now! I'll have to poke around and see if there's any other good SF deals.

Also, Candyman is finally available to purchase... Considering we've been getting some pretty good CAD prices lately. Candyman seems a but pricey at $41. That's more than the fancy set for Creepshow, and the same price as the entire [REC] collection...

Very true. This release would make a lot of sense, being that they are highly requested titles and they are now owned by Scream Factory through the Corman deal, but he must've dropped the news too early. He initially said something like "I can now reveal the news..." But apparently it was early. Still, I'm hoping the double feature drops sometime before the end of the year. Be great to finally get those in HD.

Yikes, having a personal dilemma here. That's one of my most requested/wanted titles. Definitely going to get it but I might sit on it and see if anything changes throughout the day.

Sleepwalkers is also posted at a crazy price of $40.98 CAD. Wonder what's going on, the other recent ones were posted around $26-30. Oh well, the waiting game begins!

With Amazon being a lot less competitive price-wise for the latest round of releases, I am thankful Scream ran that sale when they did. Free shipping for the following felt like such a steal:

Yeah, I sort of regret not preordering what I wanted then. Hopefully they have a decent October sale.
