I know I'm not the only OCD person here, why can't we just follow one set of standards when these entries get approved instead?

The problem seems to be the instructions for the title field. They state: "For foreign BDs use the foreign title first, then the English title within parantheses". But the standard seems to be to always but the English title first and the foreign title in parantheses regardless of the country.

If the title instructions were simply: "Always put the English title first and the foreign title (if applicable) in parentheses", everybody would be on the same page.

Turns out that set does work. Strange.

It's particularly bothersome because these massive box sets are where movies I've forgotten I owned are most likely to be. These are the ones I need to return as 'in my collection' if I look them up.

The Warner 50 BD set has 50 bundle IDs but many of those IDs are very short. All together, its bundle ID field is only 237 characters long.

The latest Panasonic 4K Blu-ray Players need that option.

Yeah, I wondered if maybe BD IDs were just shorter or something.

It's bugging me that the main Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom blu-ray item isn't showing the Sep 18 release date even though some submitted who knows how long ago.



Probably another change held up by a reviewer. Seems like basic stuff like this should have a better way to get approved when it's an obvious correct submission.

Can someone just take care of it... ya know sometime before it's actually released.

Can the description for the Amazon ASIN timestamp field be revised to make it clear that it's only meant for pre-orders? I think many members read the first part: "The ASIN timestamp is used for specifying exactly when the ASIN was added and for displaying newly added ASINs.." and think they should add the timestamp whenever they add an ASIN to an entry. In turn, the New Pre-orders lists are consistently flooded with old releases.

Maybe something along the lines of:
"The ASIN timestamp is used for specifying exactly when the ASINs of pre-orders are added so these releases can be included on the new pre-orders list. The timestamp is the number of seconds since January 1st 1970. Normally, you can just copy-paste the 'Current timestamp' that is displayed."
