Doesn't surprise me, I seem to remember that Mean Guns was filmed at a hectic pace.

But still he gave it everything he had.

Thoroughly enjoy Mean Guns. Probably Pyun’s last decent movie. Also, probably the first movie I can think of that trapped people together and forced them to kill each other. I know people always give Battle Royale the credit but Mean Guns did it first.

Agreed about Pyun's later movies, they are truly wretched. Mean Guns was the end of his best era.

Received and watched Diamonds of Kilimandjaro.... someone missed QC on that one. Scene plays with the dialog missing, then a few minutes later the same scene repeats itself with the dialog....I mean, come on. What a joke

I ended up searching on google for "Breathing Fire" and "MVD Rewind", and found this post... glad to see I'm not alone Sadly, as of now, it seems like the best looking version is on the hard to find (or overpirced on ebay) laserdisc, which has far more natural colors and none of that weird ghosting caused by a more archaic form of DNR.

Wonder if the film elements are still around for this one though... but Bolo VS Short Round, c'mon

Double Impact would make a great MVD Rewind title. Van Damme was such a badass in that time period.
