Ignore the 3.9 out of 5 stars up top -- doesn't reflect this set

The bulk of ratings above 2 stars reflects previous sets, not this new one. Which is a fundamental issue with Amazon reviews/ratings: Reviews of previous iterations of the titles in question are commingled. Ignore all reviews posted prior to August 28, 2018. As you will see from ALL of the reviews of this current set (none of which as far as I can see exceeds 2 stars), Universal royally botched the authoring of the blu ray disc containing "Revenge of the Creature." On the plus side, there are rumblings that Universal might make it right -- but that would take months. So, if you're interested in this title, in 3D or 2D, you should..... wait.

I've sent my info in. I'm optimistic, which doesn't cost anything. I do wish, if they are in fact fixing this to what it should be, that they would officially make a statement to that affect. If they do fix this the way we want I will praise them and edit my 1 start Amazon review to a 5 star review.

Btw, I haven't ordered this one. Universal is not getting my money for side-by-side 3D release.

Filter by recent or just Bluray, look at the release the review applies to, even check the review date, and the results are a bit different
Most of the older review of DVD, VHS, Prime Video and the older Bluray.

Thanks for the good advice, Richard. I'm happy to report that Amazon has posted my revised review with the header you suggested, and it currently is the latest posted. BTW, note the highly incongruous juxtaposition of 4 stars plus a damning header in what is currently listed as the "Top positive review." (?!)

I too went back to Amazon and revised my header and review to specify the edition. Also changed my rating from two to one star.

Added this was unprofessional and needed to be corrected by universal.

Won't let down my 3D brothers and sisters again!

STATEMENT RE: UNIVERSAL PICTURES HOME ENTERTAINMENT’S REVENGE OF THE CREATURE 3D BLU-RAY REPLACEMENT PROGRAM

September 5, 2018

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) has identified a manufacturing issue which may affect the presentation of the 3D Blu-ray offering of the film Revenge of the Creature, released on August 28 , 2018 as part of the Universal Classic Monsters: Complete 30-Film Collection and the Creature From the Black Lagoon Complete Legacy Collection. The issue is isolated to this particular film and does not affect any other discs in the collections. UPHE’s goal is to always deliver the best possible product to its consumers. To that end, a replacement program is being established to ensure that those who have purchased either collection have the opportunity to receive a corrected Blu-ray disc featuring the 3D version of Revenge of the Creature and 2D version of The Creature Walks Among Us, should they encounter the issue. Can't thank you enough for everything. That is certainty great news and to be honest, unexpected. But kudos to Universal for owning up to a manufacturing mistake.

Wonder how long it will take to see the full fruits of your work? Even though this is an additional wait, its going to be worth it!

Here's hoping they return to the master supplied by the 3D Film Archive, and don't just split off one eye of the SBS to make the MVC.

Worth noting, too, that the official word is a single disk with Revenge and Walks Among Us...

Both films are mastered on a single disc with Revenge in full resolution to industry standard 3-D Blu-ray specs.

I don’t know how soon copies with the corrected disc are going to hit suppliers. I suspect it’s going to be several weeks before the replication is even done.
