Yeah I love them both

Indeed it was.. thankfully I told my friends about it and they all purchased it..

Here's to hoping that part 2 gets released, because that game was much better.
25 hours you mean for the introducty sequence alone... -_- of course I farm, I find im having problems finding the nameless pot.. I know who drops it but there not dropping it.

I recall the same 70-120 hours matters how much you grilled monsters...

Though I can't compare gameplay/story as I've played for 5 minutes. Though I have to say the audio in the game is a lot better than I expected, superior to FFVII in terms of quality.
The artwork has a special feel to it, and that makes it even more special.. the audio is shocking well put together.. The sound track itself has 48 songs..

Can you imagine a game where there are more characters then you will ever bother to level up.. each having there own uniquness bringing something special... to the team.

Oh and remeber if you can bring together all 108 characters something cool happens...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/108_Sta...tiny_(Suikoden) thats a list of all the characters have fun...

Don't agree with your assessment that S2 was much better than S1. But, I guess different strokes for different folks (although the games were quite similar - kind of like an FFIV to FFV type deal)... at least you actually played S1 when it came out unlike some other people who proclaim S2 the best without having played S1 or playing it a) after S2 and/or b) way after it was released.
They each brought something different to the table and were both enjoyable.

Sadly it overshadowed the best rpgs for playstation.. Xenogears, Star Ocean 2, Legend of Lagaia.. so many more.. some people totally missed out...

I feel sorry for them.
