Agreed and the score throughout the movie is just amazing.

Batman is my all time favourite followed by Returns. Winter Soldier and Superman are up there as well as Man of Steel and BvS. The more I watch BvS the more I like it.

This will always be the top Williams score to me. I doubt any comic book movie will ever come close (imo).

I really hope 2 is pretty close behind! In a perfect world, with both, but I will take 4K theatrical and Donner Blu-Ray!

MY list is the absolute definitive one, and it's the best.

I'm not going to post it, but you guys are WAY OFF on some of your lists!
Nah, mine is the best.

The best comic book movies are: Batman Begins and Spider-Man (2002).

The end.

^^^ I love the Blade movies including Trinity. Matter of fact, bring on a UHD boxset with all three of them!

Blade Trinity > any recent Marvel movie (except Deadpool and Logan ).

Yeah, the Blade films could really use a 4K remaster, the first two Blu-Ray transfers especially are showing their age.

To he honest though, I only ever really loved the first movie. I know a lot of people prefer Del Toro's sequel, but I could never really get into it. Mostly because I didn't like the story or David Goyer's cliche-ridden script, which among other terrible dialog, has Blade say "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer" completely seriously.

Blade Trinity was mostly dumb, but Reynolds as proto-Deadpool salvages it.

Personally, I’ve never understood the endless love for Batman Returns. I loved the original, but find Returns so utterly Burton-indulgent that it kills the film. Don’t get me wrong, I love the mood of it, and honestly would’ve loved to have seen a third Burton Batman film...but as for Returns as a movie? Batman is honestly barely in the film. It’s ALL about the villains. And the climax is a gigantic dud (this huge penguin plot with the rockets, and all that happens is Alfred remotely jams the signal - Batman does nothing). He doesn’t really do anything with Selena, either, aside from tearing his mask off. I don’t know. It’s a strange film. And it’s interssting. But it’s nowhere near my top comic films of all time.

just because something is dark and broodingly serious and something more light or dares to be sincere about such stuff and shows certain other sorts of emotions doesn't mean the something dark is ever so deep and the other ever so shallow, that's the whole post-80s 'ever so brilliant' hipster sort of talk

Batman was good, one of the upper tier of them all, but I like and think Wonder Woman was definitely better.

whoa, come on, WW not even making top 20 wouldn't invalidate the list? There are not even all that many comic book movies that are beyond the OK level. I know film stuff is subjective generally, but that crosses into arguably flat out objectively absurd

1. X2: X-Men United
2. X-Men
3. Spider-Man
4. Spider-Man 2
5. Batman
6. Superman Returns
7. The Dark Knight
8. Batman Begins
9. Superman
10. Deadpool 2
11. Logan
12. Iron Man
13. The Avengers
14. Spider-Man 3
15. X-Men: The Last Stand
16. Batman Begins
17. Black Panther
18. Avengers: Age of Ultron
19. Iron Man 2
20. Wonder Woman

I think that's pretty definitive.
what? Averngers Ultron was just one big CGI fight and plenty on that list were insincere and somewhat empty

WW and Superman gotta be up at the top and actually I can't even comment, this seems random to me hah sorry
