Honestly this list could shift around a bit but I think the movies it contains would be the same.

you want to know a secret.. the success of Superman the movie is the reason we have more superhero movies in the last 20 years. no marvel, no dc no nothing.

I honestly think for balancing comic book feel, cinematic achievement and plain old movie quality the original Superman is pretty tough to beat.

If I had to pick a number two Batman Returns might be it, with the original Burton Batman not far behind. Also X-2, Days of Future Past, Superman 2, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Logan and the original Iron Man. All excellent movies.

Oh, good call! Yeah 2 especially would be VERY high on my list. In fact that reminds me I made a list for some poll thread in the movie section forever ago. I should go find that.
