Yeah same here. I was considering the Target exclusive since it will come with the bonus DVD disc, but what good is any extra bonus contents if I didn't love the movie enough to go out of my way to get it on release? I can see this being a $9.99-$14.99 title on BF 2018 as well. Hope Best Buy will pull through like they did last year.

People are always going to compare the sequels to the original and the sequels will always come up short. That's no surprise really when you consider that the original movie was based on a novel written by a very well educated and talented writer. As good as the original movie was, when you compare it to the book it's the movie that comes up short.
Steve, that book was so packed with action set-pieces, they were still using ideas from it four films in.

The Lost World -- Little girl attacked by compys on the beach, Stark's death mimics Hammond's death-by-compy in the original novel, T-Rex tongue snaking out to find people hiding behind a waterfall.
Jurassic Park III -- River chase/boat fight, aviary attack.
Jurassic World -- Cliff leap. The concept of a camouflaged dinosaur appeared in the novel of The Lost World.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom -- Baby triceratops are seen, a sequence with Tim and Lex riding baby trikes was considered for Jurassic Park, never filmed.

And don’t forget Fallen Kingdom uses the volcano idea from the first novel as well.

actually it was the most fun I had in theater in a long time when I saw it in IMAX 3D. LMAO through out. Now without the 3D it can be a pretty drab movie.I'll wait for a really good deal on the 4k but will definitely get the 3D when it comes out.

The 3D for the Jurassic World was some of the best I've ever seen, but I skipped 3D on this one. Wouldn't surprise me if it's of the same caliber.

I haven't seen this yet and my girlfriend's daughter is obsessed with this movie, so we will probably be watching this as soon as it's released. I just noticed it's in scope - very cool - I've been wanting to watch a Jurassic movie at scope since going FP.

The plot is hair-brained, but I think it was better than Jurassic World in terms of direction, suspense, horror, etc. I honestly probably enjoyed this one more than any of the other sequels, none of which were smart or high-concept movies anyway.

It was already a Resident Evil game where they swapped zombies for dinos. Dino Crisis.

So you should say JP:FC is Dino Crisis: The Movie.

I never said that they were, but flash "direction" can only cover so much stoopidness and I got about as much "suspense" and "horror" from the movie as an episode of the tellybellies.

Pimp My Raptor? Eh, if it works in a Fast and the Furious film (where all people turn out for is the cars) then it'll work in a JP film (where all people turn out for is the dinos). Heck of it is I can turn my brain off just fine for a F&TF movie but I've never had to stoop so low to enjoy a JP movie, not even JPIII. Guess it's about time I started!

Yep, same here. I saw it 3 times in IMAX 3D and once in Dolby Cinema, and while the Dolby presentation was awesome it wasn’t as immersive or fun as IMAX 3D. The 3D Blu-ray for Jurassic World is very good so I’m assuming this one will be too.

Funny enough the day after World came out I jokingly said that Blue and Rexy would devise a plan to get Mosy out of containment and use their wits to escape the island from Ingen and that Jeff Goldblum laughing would be the end credits music.

That was like, a long time before we heard anything about Fallen Kingdom and in a way is exactly what happened with it.

I'm a presidigiriduio!

I'd love the shit out of that. Hell, swap Starlord for Dom and I'd have enjoyed this movie far more, at least I've have known what kind of denominator it was being aimed at. 2 Fast 2 Tyrannosaurus
