At least it's Hilary Duff =D

You can all say you hate her but I've liked almost everything I've seen her in. She's not the best actress but she has a likability.

Oh I don't hate her, actualy I find her cute compare to the other "skanks" (is that the right word?) that you have these days like like Paris, Lindsey and the others. I just don't think they should be re-making all of these classic movies, there is truly no reason for it.

WOW! a little louder please I don't think they heard you in Brazil I don't care if they are calling it a re-make or not in the end it's all the same. Most likely a young MTV producer just saw the movie a few months ago on Turner Classic and said :

"Great let's do another movie but it's the a re-make but we will just copy the original scene by scene but truly it's not a re-make and we will use as actor the latest bumble gum actors to appeal to the Nintendo generation. We will have a budget of 5 millions, the kids will come and see it cause their favorite pop idol are in the movie and we will make 50-60 millions."

It is a different take on the story -- I'm not saying it's going to be good, I'm just saying it isn't a remake of any prior work.

Default What's Next?

What's next? Lawrence of Arabia (1962) with Justin Timberlake?

The Exorcist (1973) with Dakota Fanning?

Rocky (1976) with Duane Johnson a.k.a The Rock?

God help us all!

By the way: the original Bonnie and Clyde (1967) is a classic. Well worth your time Dingo.

If they are calling it Bonnie and Clyde then it is a remake. Story elements may be a little different, but you don't always have to have the same script for something to be considered a remake.

Stop the Hate on this please! Ill echo the statement: Its Not A Remake!!

First of all Bonnie and Clyde was a true story with a 5 or 6 year history that got chopped up for the 1967 flick. Examples being:

-There were several Barrow gang members at different times; not just the 3 or 4.

- Clyde spent years in a prison work camp while he was with Bonnie that he got out of and went back 3 years later and killed guards while releasing prisoners.

- Bonnie and Clyde didnt meet like they did in the movie. They met at a mutal friends house.

There are more examples but point is that there have been several versions of films on Titanic, WW2, Jack the Ripper etc. If someone can tell the B&C story in more detail then so be it. I fully support them doing this film and Im sure Hillary will do fine; just giver her a chance.

That being said; I do like the original 1967 film and own the Blu . Its entertaining and gets some of it right. I advise watching the History Channel documentary on B&C in the extras.

Aprill fools day comes early? I bet it will be as good as the "The Day the Earth Stood Still" remake.

After all Hilary Duff did quite a strange and sexy role in War Inc.,no more goody goody teen roles for her! But the original 1967 film is a classic, dont fuq w/ a classic! If you want to see a reel strange Bonnie and clyde Video watch "The Other Side Of Bonnie And Clyde"(it was released a year later after the Beatty/Dunaway film and is done though reenactments, the Actual Death film, and more!,would have been a very awesome extra on the Warner Blu!) paired w/the equaly strange "The Trail Of Lee Harvey Oswald" (i'm sure nobdy reading has even heard of these real obscure films)two 60's cult classics on one DVD with great extras as well from Something Wierd Video.

I haven't seen B&C. I've heard mixed things about it.

Also if it's not a direct remake I'm not that bothered.
