Shout Factory - Jackie Chan Police Story 1 & 2 combo pack appears to be out of print.
It’s not available on Shouts website, unless I missed it.

Possibly they're going to release an upgrade using the same masters as the recent UK set from Eureka?

Criterion released Supercop (Police Story 3) on laserdisc back in the day, though it was the US Dimension Films version. It would be nice if they (or Eureka) could manage to get the rights to the original HK version.

Back in the early 90s, when Criterion released John Woo's The Killer on laserdisc, I was mind-boggled. I had a dim view of HK action/martial arts films at the time, and couldn't understand why Criterion was releasing one.

Not long after, I was on my way home from a day at the Boston Film Festival and happened by a local art/rep theater that was showing Woo's Hard Boiled. It was the last showing on the last day, and I said, "What the hell; I might as well see what this Woo guy is all about."

The next day I went down to the local Tower Records (I said this was the 90s

) and picked up a copy of The Killer on LD. It started my long-standing interest in HK films (and not just the action/MA variety).

Olive films website still has it in stock. For whatever reason, retailers seem to not stock Olive Films merchandise well. I just panicked as much of my wishlist is olive films and it’s only through 3rd party. All of it is still available through Olive Films own web store.

It's on Amazon and Bullmoose used for around $10. Doesn't seem to be available new anywhere but I only checked 3-4 sites.

There is a UK Blu for HUDSON HAWK that looks like a Special Edition being released in UK in a couple of weeks.

Curious to see the film after all these years. May blind buy import it.

Another amazing score at the Movie Trading Company in Fort Worth! Snagged a used copy of the original 1981 My Bloody Valentine for $7.99!

I called in advance from another store and they said they had it, but when I arrived they had the DVD version pulled. It took 2 employees them 10 minutes of frantic searching to locate it! They had gotten it traded-in yesterday and whoever put it through their shrinks rap machine dropped it behind it. I was just about to leave when then supervised spotted in on the floor behind the machine.
