New York City architect Natalie works hard to get noticed at her job but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design the city’s next skyscraper. And if things weren’t bad enough, Natalie, a lifelong cynic when it comes to love, has an encounter with a mugger that renders her unconscious, waking to discover that her life has suddenly become her worst nightmare—a romantic comedy—and she is the leading lady.

Wilson stars as Natalie, alongside Liam Hemsworth as Blake, a handsome client; Adam Devine as her earnest best friend, Josh; and Priyanka Chopra as yoga ambassador Isabella.

Strauss-Schulson directs from a screenplay by Erin Cardillo and Dana Fox & Katie Silberman. Todd Garner (“Paul Blart: Mall Cop,” “Tag”), Gina Matthews and Grant Scharbo (“13 Going on 30,” “What Women Want”) are producing, with Marty Ewing (“IT,” “The Accountant”) and Rebel Wilson executive producing.

Collaborating with Strauss-Schulson behind the scenes are director of photography Simon Duggan (“The Great Gatsby,” “Hacksaw Ridge”), production designer Sharon Seymour (“Argo,” “The Town”), editor Andrew Marcus (“Begin Again,” “Sing Street”), and costume designer Leah Katznelson (“How to Be Single,” “Sleeping with Other People”).

New Line Cinema presents, in association with Bron Creative, a Broken Road/Little Engine Production, “Isn’t It Romantic.” Slated for release on February 14, 2019, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company. The film has been rated PG-13 for language, some sexual material, and a brief drug reference.

Agree. The premise is fun, creative and unique, but I got no laughs from the trailer. Nothing.

Movie doesn't look bad. I actually like the concept of being stuck in a Romantic Comedy. Though could have gotten a better actress. Though sorta does remind me of I Feel Pretty. But better executed.

I am a Rom-Com kind of guy though.

The director basically remade their film The Final Girls (which I love!) but instead of using being stuck in an 80's slasher flick it's a romantic comedy. Not complaining. Looks fun. They should do every genre.

I had no idea he directed this. Thanks for the info. Makes me look forward to the film even more.

I agree. They need to do one where someone gets stuck in a cliche teen comedy.

What?!?! I don't remember seeing that in the trailer. I need to watch it again. That alone is worth the price of admission. You are right. That man can wax on and wax off me any day of the week.

This looks abysmal. Ill check it out still using my A-List but, not feeling too excited about it.

This is actually the first thing I thought of as well. The trailer looked kind of funny to me so I'll probably see it through A-list.

This is now being only released theatrically in the US. Netflix worldwide except here on 2/28. Same with Son of Shaft.

This is actually didn't look too bad to me. And I really like the cast. I won't see it in the theater, but once it hits cable or Netflix I'll give it a chance. Plus, I mean seriously, with Priyanka in it ...
