I think he's referring to the 1977 version of "Black Sunday" with Bruce Dern and Robert Shaw.

Last I heard Shout/Scream had these. It came out of a conversation of the potential 3D option for Frankenstein, where 3D expert Bob Furmanek had expressed frustration at the plausibility of 3D version, because so many technical issues are baked into the original elements, not correctable, and stated he thought it was with Shout anyway.

Still, I saw it 3D in the theatre, and it was a hoot. If comes down to Shout or Kino, I'd rather it were Kino. They've put out great 3D stuff and their prices are more agreeable.

I would also LOVE to get KLI's personal opinion on wether he thinks the hundreds of classic, most requested Paramount catalog titles
[Show spoiler]The Sons of Katie Elder, The Shootist, Paint Your Wagon, Donovan's Reef, This Property is Condemned, Heaven Can Wait, The Parallax View, The Greatest Show On Earth, Back To The Beach, Blue Hawaii, Ghost and the Darkness, Hatari done RIGHT, The Longest Yard, Mommie Dearest, Regarding Henry, 7 Men From Now, The Tenant, The High and the Mighty, Etc, Etc, Etc.
previously released on DVD will see blu ray releases anytime in the near future. I'm not sure if he would be comfortable voicing that opinion on here though. The trickle of Paramount releases we are getting from Olive, Criterion and Paramount themselves is torturous for those of us that love these movies. My eyes aren't getting any stronger !!

Pretty sure you are correct, and I would love to have that film on blu-ray.

Not sure how you can miss it. It is really distracting when it starts happening towards the end of the film.

Only other explanation is that there is a bad batch of discs floating around.

Marvelous. Kind Hearts is also another former Criterion title that desperately needed to come to blu. Glad to see all three announced.
