If you missed out on the Mary and the Witch's Flower blu-ray, don't feel too bad. The seller sent a message saying they sold more than expected and are out of stock (why list the given quantity for sale then?). Gave me the option to wait it out or have instant refund, as I think they really just wanted me to cancel the underpriced order. I was a garbage-person and told them I'm in no rush and can wait for them to get more in.

Just note the Digital Code is probably only redeemable via Itunes and will only be SD now. $5 for an excellent 3D presentation is a pretty good price. The movie has a few fans (i'm one of them) and lots of people who don't like it at all.

This is one of those items that likely will be re-released as a BD+DigHD somewhere down the line.

I was just contemplating purchasing the Jurassic World: 5 Movie Collection Gold Box Deal for $27.99, and before I decided I didn't need it (I already own all the films on BD and/or 3D BD) I checked the prices on eBay and found what seems like a decent deal on the steelbook version of the set if anyone's interested...

What is up with all of these recent disney 4k titles popping up for $17-18 on ebay when stores prices have never been below 22 for most?

Weirder still one of the titles I got had a legit Best Buy Sticker on it, so unless this is a BBY employee with a discount reselling seems off.

I assume it's the "fell off a truck" theory?

Only cause most of the sellers I got from had 750-1000+ FB

You said it. 99% of the time it's sellers with high feedback scores offering 100s of these newly released Disney 4K titles that "fell off a truck". I don't think BB employees get anywhere near the kind of discount to make any profit from those prices.

They’ve been popping up at a lot of discount stores near me too, albeit the regular blu rays. I think they’re coming from Target, Wal-Mart, and Best Buy stores reducing their inventory, though I thought they were suppose to return unsold stock to distributors?

Even though they’ve been at 50-75% off, I’ve resisted buying Disney titles knowing their streaming service is around the corner. With kids’ titles, convenience and resistance to damage trumps PQ.

I get what you saying about resistance for kids, but in my case the physical is for me personally whereas digital is for everyone else. Have 2 cousins with kids and one friend all sharing our digital collection, Therefore one code purchase/trade/redemption is actually for 4 people.

Typically you can't have a membership for a service split between 4 people (assuming you don't pay extra like netflix) So I think it's fair and convenient. Also have no clue whats happening with disney service as of yet anyhow. Will it really be all of their titles all of the time? etc. Will they offer 4k streaming how will it match up with existing providers.

In my case $7-8 for disney 4k code (for a title I don't HAVE to own physically) is fair since I'm sure atleast 3-4 people are going to get use out of it, and then I own it forever as well, so no worries about it being "vaulted" or not on the service this month etc.

As for these sets, as long as they keep sending legit copies I don't need to really know where they are from, just idly curious is all
