I have the 2003 pilot. Dont know if I will buy BSG on BR.
That's exactly what makes the show significantly better than the original in my opinion. Being in doubt at times about whether the humans are the good ones added a significant level of depth to the show I thought.

Not seen anyone who actually liked the original more... I guess we all our opinions on things.

More on topic: I'll be there day one on this -- hope the box set rumors are true.

Shh! It'll be easier to accept if we just give them our credit cards and have them ship it -- we can look at the bill while we re-watch all the seasons.

I'm hoping it streets under $150. Higher than that and I don't think I could justify it, as much as I love BSG.

it would be cool if the (1979) Version was remastered in 1080p! I tried viewing the new BG and I just cannot get into it. I am a fan of the Classic Show More.

I have already spent more than that on S1-4.0 on DVD.... I would imagine the entire series on blu-ray would be in the ballpark of $300...

Probably... Though I hope not

I guess we'll have to wait and see... to be honest I'd probably pay anything they ask, but I'd be pretty ticked while I hit that "Submit Order" button.

I certainly wouldn't mind having the entire series on BD, especially since I've been watching it in awful looking SD on Space in Canada, and holding out for the Blu-ray release. But...I'm definitely not all over it, like some. Where I tend to watch movies repeatedly, my few tv series DVDs (none on BD yet) have never gotten a rewatch. It'd have to be a pretty good deal before I jump.
