ive read that the 1968 comeback special was mastered on videotape and the blu ray will not benefit from a thing. at the moment vevo have uploaded clips to youtube and in my opinion backs up that and it still looks poor quality compared to what it would look in HD.
that's nice but it doesn't show anything specific as far as upgraded Audio and/or Video

Their def the blu rays but still some of the tracs are repeated 5 or 6 times,even if their outakes it a bit strange to have them all right after one another

They were "rehearsals" in that they were live jams and the best bits were then culled for the TV show. Apparently you're not familiar with the great Follow That Dream CD releases - Elvis would sometimes cut 20-30-40+ takes of a song, looking for the right master. It was unheard of when he started, but it's why there are now so many great FTD double CDs with great alternate takes.
Sometimes, when they were short on titles due to tapes being destroyed (especially in the early days), you got things such as disc 2 of his first LP: 32 takes of 3 tunes; or disc two of his 2nd Gold Records album: 51 takes of 3 tunes. You don't get to hear many great artists work like that (and most of the takes were a gas, with either small errors or an evolving arrangement). The chatter (laughing and cursing) are a whole 'nother level of joy.

The FTD releases are phenomenal. I have the Jungle Room sessions and I've had the opportunity to listen to others on YouTube.
I thought I would post here about the HBO documentary Elvis Presley: The Searcher (2018).
Bizarrely, in the United States, Sony have released this documentary only on DVD, but they have released it on Blu-ray in Australia and the UK, with the latter being an HMV Exclusive bundled with a CD and the UK DVD edition. As HMV no longer offer international shipping, my copy hails from Australia, but I would be very surprised if the UK Blu-ray is not identical to this one.

Can you (or anyone else) confirm that the German Wild In The Country is region free or at least safe in region A? I want to order it, and BRDC says it's okay for A, but everyone selling it - from Amazon.de to eBay - says it's region B.

Although I thought there would only be one German version, could there be two - domestic and export? Does your BD have a region B symbol on the back? Perhaps it's just a smokescreen? I'm not well stacked enough to lightly throw away $19-$35, and I'm not multi region capable, nor will I be. Hence … careful I tread.

I have a couple region-free players and get a lot of foreign Blu-rays. They are often incorrectly listed as far as region restrictions and the jacket inserts are not correct much of the time. The back of the German disc has a region B logo but it plays on my player set to region A. I just went in and tried it on another region A-only player and it has no issues. Buy with confidence.

Not that I know of, I was just reiterating the information that's been posted online. I suppose someone should ask Twilight Time what is going on, since, to my knowledge, neither they nor Redwind (TT's Brian Jamieson) have ever officially announced the title.
I asked Screen Archives Entertainment about this since they were listed at the bottom of the ad and they sent me this today:
"We have not been notified of this release from Redwind Productions. The only title from this label that we have is Sunshine."
Well they actually have 3 titles from Redwind on their site. Sunshine, Holiday In Spain and To Whom It May Concern. So is Loving You coming next? I hope so. I'm not giving up on it.
