As long as the case is in great condition I would say so... You're lucky to get these for under $60, so $50 is a good price... Heck they were $41 delivered when they first started selling them on Amazon.UK...

Booklet was only from Play Asia... Your copy could have been from Amazon...

You almost gave me an heart attack! I bought it yesterday, it says sealed:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=170299360625

Next time, when it doesn't state the condition you should always ask if is sealed or not! A lot of amazon, ebayer sell "brand new" and what you receive is a used, not sealed... and then if you claim they will answer that this is not factory sealed.. all same story.

PS: I'm going to PM you

Oh boy, seems that you have got a better deal than me. GBP 30 for a Brand new and SEALED copy.

by the way, what region is my purchase? Is it region A/free?

I bought it for my love of the steel though, so watching is 2nd priority.

Just managed to pick one up from my local HMV, had 5 on the shelf but only one was steel otherwise would have had the lot!

My one only had an "important notice" inside, no booklet.

I just put the disc in my player to check.

Works for region A. :0)

Never watched this movie before, not really into musicals. So not sure if I will be willing to spend the time to sit down and watch.

When I received the item today, I expected it to be sealed, as thats my perception of brand new. Apparantly, it wasn't sealed. So I emailed him to inform him.

He replied that he bought from the UK Manufacturer brand new but it was not sealed initially, and that it is normal for brand new items not to be sealed in UK.

I will just like to verify if this is true in UK???

Anyway the item is in perfect condition, so I do not intend to make a fuss over it.

By the way, the buy-it-now price is GBP29.99 + GBP3.99 (Shipping to Singapore). Did I just get myself a good deal? Many many other ppl are selling it so much more expensive in ebay
you got shammed, I would definitely complain as its not new and every sweeney todd I got from the UK including the ones I have now are new and sealed. They deserve no less than a neutral for not disclosing it wasnt sealed

If you were going to watch it anyway and its in good condition I think its a fuss over nothing.

Don't buy a car on a rainy day, it will more than likely be wet.
