It hasn't been "officially" announced by the company, beyond what was let out at a foreign press event. At CES, we'll likely get a fat list of 2019 releases from Sony to promote their products.

Do studios even do that anymore at CES? I remember frothing at the mouth at all the titles announced at CES back in the day.

Makes sense. The 35th anniversary plus Cobra Kai: Season 2 should be debuting around that time. I'd love to get that show on UHD. Season 1 was amazing.

Yeah, this multiple streaming services is getting a bit out of hand.
We did the free trial. Not sure what we'll do for Season 2.

They've allowed two whole generations to get used to watching everything for free, so the fact they expect them to pay for 5+ streaming services is absurd. People will keep paying for one or two for convenience reasons and pirate everything else.

They do. It's not as it was back in 2007, but they still do it collectively under the guise of the BDA, UHD Alliance, etc., and Sony will use upcoming stuff to promote their TVs, as they always have.
