Default HD DVD crowd more delusional than ever!

Read this thread! This is a riot. These folks act as though Anchor Bay/Starz was forced into releasing on Blu-Ray and would really prefer to release on HD-DVD if they could. What a joke.

"If" this clown actually talked to the PR person for Starz/anchor bay, you have to understand the job of a PR person is to try to make everyone happy, especially people that are going to trash you if they don't like what they hear. haha.

It would be sad if another exec falls for the "neutral is the way" BS.

It's not good enough that Blu-ray sold 180K+ copies (and still growing) of a movie?

that guy that said he talked to the anchor bay guy is full of shit. Does he honestly think that he would get to speak to some big wig over at anchor bay. That guy makes millions of dollars why would he even waste his time to talk to a nobody. i dont buy that story for one sec. If anchor bay went to release their stuff on blu ray exclusively i guarantee you it wasnt forced on by a gun or something to the liking. They had a choice and chose well. it makes me sad that so many hd dvd supporters are in heavy denial.

But Ed Peters does not actually work for the studio, correct? I saw his name on press releases for other companies, and the contact info indicates he works for the PR agency.

Wow, I bow at the influence that call will carry.

Hawkeye: Put that down as negative.

yeah your right, it is a PR firm but i think they handle a lot for Starz, but this is not a representative from the studio, he is not top guy by any means!

Using an outside PR firm (many of them over the years), I can tell you they don't know squat about what the thinking is inside the clients they represent. Their job is to always spin their clients in a positive manner and pass along info that their clients desire. Nothing else..

Yep your right, what that guy said was half true, a little beefing up made it sound a lot worse.

But like i said on AVS im sick of this type of shit so i had to say something!!

And i think Starz really know that there safe with Blu, hence why there part of the family
