Default What's for dinner? a PS2!!

So my friend was living in a rather dodgy part of london and each day when he left for work he had to leave his valuables in various hiding places throughout his apartment..

On returning from work one day he put his dinner into the oven that he had just bought on the way home. A while later a horrible burning smell was coming from the kitchen! He thought he might have left some of the packaging on his dinner and assumed that was the smell.. When he opened the oven door and looked inside, it was only then when he remembered where he had hidden his PS2....

ps2.jpg

Still works perfectly!

Now your friend will have a perfectly good excuse to join the modern world & go buy a next generation console of his choice.

About backwards compatibility, don't fret/pout about it that much. It's way overated. Your friend can pick up loads of ps360 games used for 80% off.

Why would you choose to live in a scummy area in the first place? I live with a bunch of millionaires around me. Totally safe.

No you're not, you can never be totally safe. Crime and violence happens everywhere. And not everyone has the funds to live where you think they should.

I lived in a million plus home area, and guess where thieves go to get the good stuff. Uhm, the RICH neighborhood. You are going to get robbed in a "rich snooby snooty" neighborhood just as much as in a "poor" neighborhood. Stolen cars, lets see, do you want the broken down 1940 hoopty that back fires constantly, or the brand spanking new 50,000$ car? Lets see, where would a car thief go? Oh yeah the rich neighborhood. Want a great engine for a race car? You're not going to find a well maintained car in the "poor" neighborhoods, you got to go .... yep you guessed it the "rich" neighborhood.

So don't think you are safe because you live around millionaires, you will still be robbed one day.

Well, if the PS2 can survive being cooked in the oven, then a PS3 would be able to survive, say...a nuclear blast? Along with cockroches and Chuck Norris.

that sucks, but if he turned on the oven and stuck the food n, then why didn't he see the PS2? This guy needs to learn to pay attention. Plus standardize where he puts stuff, he will probably end up losing his valuables living that way. Reminds me of a story, I had a friend that decided to hide extra cash in the trash can under the bag, I am sure I don't need to go on with what happened one day.

I guess its something you dont really think of before you turn on your oven! "hmm.. hope there are no pots and pans in here... or a ps2!" Maybe he had a rough day at work and it didnt cross his mind!
