I don't need to quote a web site i deal with this question everyday. LCD can not reproduce place like plasma, it is just not possible, plasma has a ink like black where LCD looks flat, also has to do with the matt screen that LCD uses over the glossy screen that plasma uses. LCD will never have a deep black like plasma and that is why plasma will always have a better picture with more accurate detail and better color.
