Back in the height of DVD you could walk into any Best Buy and find 3 isles stacked with horror titles they would stock, hundreds of titles. Today most Best Buys don’t even have a single rack delicated to the horror titles, unless Halloween is lingering. Code Red was established shortly after these golden times and even though Bill managed to get titles stocked into stores, they never sold enough to sell out and not have copies sent back to bill at a loss so to this day he brings up how he was never able to sell 3,000 at Best Buy so why rereleases anything?

You might be surprised how many gays enjoy these types of movies. I agree that it's still a small percentage of a small audience, but with the constant griping about sales, every little bit counts.

These meltdowns can't be good for a guy who has been in and out of hospitals often and here we have this wrestler/filmmaker taking advantage of the guy to sell crappy movies online. Where did this love affair come from, anyway? Is DeFalco Bill's former Junior High School buddy or something? Or was he just starstruck and after a piece of Bill's former DVD hostess (who was also in the wrestling biz) - I forget her name. Bill, take your meds and sever ties with this guy before he puts YOU in that morgue.

I don't know what kind of echochamber you live in, but contrary to popular stereotype, not all gay people like 'big studio movies' or even musicals, you know.

There are plenty of gay people who are into the kind of stuff Code Red releases. I know several privately. Some even frequent this very thread. Shocking, right? It is almost is if there is no necessary correlation between film taste and sexuality. Who would have thought?

And I happen to be one of those gays! My friends can't get their head around my adoration of Euro ladies like Edwige Fenech, Nieves Navarro, Erika Blanc etc!

As for Bill and his homophobia? I can't say I'm surprised, but still a little disappointed. He completely trashes all his customers regardless of sexuality and treats everyone with equal contempt and vitriol, I wouldn't be surprised if he has racism and misogyny in the mix too!

I do think DeFalco is taking advantage and being a bit twisted manipulating Bill, he kept bringing up the beef with Scorpion around a dozen times in that FB live stream, obviously poking Bill with a stick to get a reaction. It's not just funny and all kinds of WTF but also rather sad. Bill was always a bit eccentric but DeFalco seems to be taking the piss out of him (certainly that's how it looks from my POV

I missed the stream and it looks like it was taken down. Lame. I always enjoy the "progress" these ass clowns make. A perfect example to educate folks on how to not run a label/business. What train wreck. I'm sure their biggest customers are the scalpers. I've bought a couple things that are decently priced, but would buy more if they didn't suck at this whole label thing. Mainly pricing and over hyping and under delivering.

Also packages have taken about a week to get to me. Hardly fast. Although I don't blame them for that, assuming they send these out around the same day the label is printed. They are sending them first class and it gets to you as quick as first class will take you. No tracking, unless I'm missing something. I'd stop saying "quick shipping", because those that don't ship product like we do, won't understand and you don't need even more hate than you're getting.

Now... how about that decently priced Mardi Gras Massacre?

It seems like Winter Night was just an added bonus, as the Shakma image seemed to be plastered all over the FB site, etc. I imagine Curse of Blue Lights is on the way to blu, as the DVD is listed for sale.

Unfortunately I missed the live feed, and I'm kind of glad I did.

It honestly has very little to do with being surprised or even offended by anything Bill says- about this topic or any else. It’s about who somebody chooses to support with their money. At some point crazy ***holes stop getting a pass just because they’re, you know, crazy ***holes.

I can all but guarantee that Bill will give to DF to sell since he can't get his own store to work, and then DF will mark it up to some insane price and claim it's a steal.
