and, to chime in on the blu-ray for the new movie, i was incredibly disappointed. i really wanted to see this alternate ending, especially since the shot on the back cover of allyson holding the knife isn't even in the movie -- it's even outside. the deleted scenes were disappointing, and the little 4-minute featurettes universal releases and then just slaps onto the blu-ray and call it a day isn't gonna cut it anymore because they did the same thing with the strangers: prey at night.
