Was there any solid evidence that Criterion was handling this and Ferris Bueller's Day Off or were people just hoping they'd do these after they did The Breakfast Club? It's easy for information to snowball out of control after people get worked up over something. I don't own any version of Sixteen Candles but I'd like to add it to my collection. If the Criterion "rumors" are true I'll wait for that.
