How about any titles featuring an old man? Or starring Gary Oldman?

There's absolutely no chance that they change the font (or anything else, for that matter) without somebody saying 'damn, I liked the other one better'.

Hell, they could replace Hannibal with a UHD release of the unaltered original Star Wars trilogy and somebody would say 'oh man, I really wanted Hannibal'.

Man-with-a-past James Stewart (Broken Arrow) guides a band of pioneers from Missouri over the Oregon Trail to a new life in the Columbia River Basin in this western adventure directed by the great Anthony Mann (Man of the West). When the settlers are cheated out of their supplies and cattle, Stewart crosses rivers, climbs mountains and out-guns greedy hijackers to ensure their survival through the first winter. Along the way, he is double-crossed by ally Arthur Kennedy (Elmer Gantry) and assisted by handsome San Francisco gambler Rock Hudson (The Tarnished Angels) and beautiful farmer’s daughter Julia Adams (Wings of the Hawk). Screenplay by Borden Chase (Red River) and featuring a wonderful cast that includes Jay C. Flippen (The Lemon Drop Kid), Chubby Johnson (Cyborg 2087), Stepin’ Fetchit (The Sun Shines Bright), Harry Morgan (The Ox-Bow Incident) and Royal Dano (Moby Dick).

I just remembered - Captain Newman, M.D. is with Universal. That said, the Insider has already said they don't have any Tony Curtis films...

For those unaware, this confirms Tobruk and Groundstar Conspiracy among the Peppard films. Now, if we could just determine if there are any films directed by George Peppard in this Universal deal...

Our 4 George Peppard titles are:

Tobruk (1967) Arthur Hiller
P.J. (1968) John Guillermin - New 2K master
The Groundstar Conspiracy (1972) Lamont Johnson - New 2K master
Newman's Law (1974) Richard T. Heffron - New 2K master

We originally also had John Guillermin's House of Cards (1968), but had to drop it due to some legal issues.

Many of the spaghetti Westerns. There are commentaries that he did on Death Rides A Horse and The Mercenary.

You have three upcoming SW releases? Have the titles been announced yet? If not, are you able to say what studio deal they originate from? I would love it if the Hellbenders was one of them.

Awesome news about the Peppard titles. Hopefully the issues surrounding House of Cards aren't insurmountable for a future deal, but that would just be the icing on the cake. I also have to commend Kino on their choices for the 60s and 70s titles in particular, many of the ones I was hoping for have made it so far.

Is Tobruk the war film set in a desert? I vaguely remember something like that.

KLI I know this might be premature to ask, since you just announced your first UHD yesterday, but will the Summer UHD title be an upgrade of a previously released title from your catalog or a newly acquired title?

KL Insider:

When can we expect to start seeing some of the Miklós Jancsó titles you guys licensed from the Hungarian National Film Archive last year?

They're completely different films.

P.J. is similar to Harper, lots of action and fun.

Pendulum is dark and deals with police corruption, similar to Madigan.

We uploaded it to the U.S. site this week, it usually takes a few days.
