I concur. I purchased the Dutch version a couple month ago from CDenDVD.nl:

It is region free. It's unique in that the one blu-ray disc contains the standard 2D, 3D anaglyph and regular 3D versions.

I just received my copy this morning and it won't play in real 3D. I get a message saying that I need 3D equipment to play in real 3D. I tried on two different sets and I get the same thing. ???????

Update: The real 3D will only play in my region free player. The other formats will play in all my players. Go figure!
