I think that the plane crash not only helped Travis figure out what he wanted, but Tom and Mark too. They weren't on talking terms before it, and afterward, they realized how foolish they were being to feud over something so silly. Life truly is too short to be spent in dispute.

i couldn't agree more. i love the last album, but when i bought their greatest hits i realized how little off that cd i actually liked. still, i am looking forward to new music from them. as long as they don't go back to their juvenile ways. it's that aspect i like least.

as for the other projects, I liked them all along with LOVING the first AVA cd, and the Boxcar Racer CD as well. Part of why I was shocked when they initially announced the breakup. I didn't understand why they couldn't just keep being Blink while doing other projects like they had been. Guess just like any family, sometimes you just need to step back and catch your breath once in a while.

I look forward to anything from those guys no matter what band they are involved in

i felt the same way, i felt like they grew up with me, a little bit with each new album

from what i read, the reason they broke up wasnt just to do other projects, tom decided that he was going in a different direction and tried to be in charge of the creative direction for the music, and mark and travis wanted it to continue to have it be a democratic situation where they all have inputand they clashed. also, he didnt like touring all the time because his wife had just given birth to their daughter and he wanted to spend time with them

im so glad they were able to put it all behind them and get back together, i cant wait to hear the new stuff

For anybody who would like to see a 20th Anniversary re-issue of the first album, Cheshire Cat, there is, apparently, a Facebook page about the cause.

Alternative Press: Since you have fulfilled your contract with Interscope, do you have less control over your back catalog now than you did before? Are you going to be able to do your own deluxe reissues if you’d want to down the road, or is that something they completely control?

Mark: It’s something that we would have to work with Interscope to do in the future. They still own the masters for those songs, and we didn’t leave Interscope on bad terms or anything at all. It was just a parting of ways, and if we wanted to reissue some things, I’m sure they’d be cool with it and we’d figure out a way to make it happen.

I wonder if we're ever going to see this:

And they say weed isn't harmful. Well something happened inside Travis that says otherwise. I'm very glad he quit using drugs.
