I hope I'm wrong, but I fear that this UHD release will contain the same amount of suckage as the Lionsgate UHD release of another movie from the same period - 3:10 to Yuma, where a properly encoded 1080p blu ray shows more clearly defined film grain and finer detail than the UHD:

The German Fox blu ray of Lord of War and its insanely high bit rate already crushes the Lionsgate BD in terms of compression:

I hope that the UHD is sourced from a new master.

Does Lord of War have a DI, or was it finished on film? If it's the latter I can't possibly see a 3:10 situation.
