If Brick ever comes to UHD I would hope either Johnson or the DP would be consulted on the HDR pass, but that's about it.
Ahh, yes, very true. My obsession with film usually favors the creative side rather than the technical side and I always forget about DIs and stuff like that. Thanks for the info.

On another note, I may have to definitely pick up Link after seeing it’s a brand new 4k restoration. Surprising yet awesome.

Fairly sure Brick did not have a DI.

Oh awesome, thanks for answering! Also, I was wondering if you guys had any plans to eventually do a Murnau box set, just like the wonderful set you released for Fritz Lang. Thanks!

I'm sure there's lots of directors who are unaware of their films getting a BD release. I don't think it's possible, or sensible for Kino, or any other label to seek out each and every one of them about the possibility of doing new extras. In Rian Johnson's case, I imagine he's very busy right now on the post-production of Knives Out, and certain other future projects. So perhaps he would be down to do a commentary, but we don't want another James Cameron situation where the BD release is put on the back-burner and delayed indefinitely until the director can work on it.

The strong supporting cast includes Richard Basehart (The Satan Bug), Sandra Dee (Gidget), John Saxon (The Appaloosa), Ray Walston (Kiss Me, Stupid), Virginia Grey (Target Earth), Anna May Wong (Piccadilly) and Lloyd Nolan (The House on 92nd Street).

Twenty years later, Holly finds herself on trial for her life... where she is defended by her own son (Keir Dullea, 2001: A Space Odyssey). Directed by David Lowell Rich (A Lovely Way to Die, Eye of the Cat) and co-starring Ricardo Montalban (Border Incident), Burgess Meredith (Rocky), Virginia Grey (The Last Command) and Warren Stevens (Forbidden Planet).

Generic question and genuine curiosity, how are list prices determined? I see Broken Flowers, The Landlord, and Swing Vote are $30 and Brick is $20.

Does anyone know what type of case the latest Kino Blu-rays come in? I need replacement cases and those are perfect. They're just the right size, the right shade of blue and the right style of corners (not square-ish, like the ones Code Red uses, which I hate). There are so many different types of cases I don't want to get stuck with the wrong ones. Shout Factory uses the same types. Thanks

I caught Billy the Kid vs. Dracula on TCM in October 2017. The effects are obviously cheap and Chuck Courtney is clearly too old to be playing Billy the Kid, but I actually liked it more than I thought I would.

I don't know what they're called. Mill Creek uses them too now. I'm not a big fan of them myself. The hubs are bit too tight on the discs for my comfort so I often switch them out. How many replacements do you need?

KL Insider:

Is The Black Marble (1980) with Studio Canal?

Also, was it confirmed previously on this forum if Crossed Swords (1978) is with Studio Canal?

I'd like to replace basically every Code Red/Scorpion/Dark Force case in my collection and some of the Twilight Time ones. Probably 100-120 cases minimum
