I stumbled across it on TV a few months ago. I'd heard it was okay-to-good. It's way better than the middling reception it receives. Amazing cast.

Hmm I watched a lot of adventure movies over the last month(Romancing the Stone, National Treasure, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, High Road to China) and I'd re-watch Crystal Skull over them any day.

This will probably be even more unpopular, but for me, that goes with the some other 70s/80s horror films as well, Carrie (1976), The Exorcist (1973), The Omen (1976), Evil Dead (1976), Halloween (1978), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and Dawn of the Dead (1978).
