For Your Eyes Only is definitely overrated. Prefer most of Moore's movies over it.

Die Another Day is great fun, and not in a 'so bad it's good' way. It's like the ultimate Bond movie with all the gadgets and Bond clichés, the action is good, the plot is enjoyably preposterous and Brosnan is wonderful in it. It's way more entertaining than something like Spectre. It may be completely daft but at least it's fun.

Can't say I prefer DIE ANOTHER DAY to SPECTRE, but I'll certainly take it over the anemic THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH.

DIE ANOTHER DAY has some great set pieces (the swordfight in the club in particular) and it's ultimately a fun ride...I even rather like the ice palace set. I know a lot of Bond fans take issue with the sillier, comic-book entries such as this, MOONRAKER and YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE but they're fast-paced and entertaining (and frequently gorgeous to look at); that's all I really ask for in any Bond film.

Skyfall is only a little bit better than Spectre for me, tbh.

Die Another Day is in the bottom tier of my beloved Bond films but I'll also agree that it's better than The World Is Not Enough (which ranks dead last in the entire series for me...)

I could never understand the big love for Skyfall. I just don't think that it's that great and Spectre and [especially] Casino Royale are better....though it's still miles better than the awful Quantum of Solace, the worst of the entire series.

I loved Die Another Day at the cinema but it's diminished with repeated viewings for me. But I've always loved Moonraker and feel that it, rather than The Spy Who Loved Me, is Moore's best.

Quantum of Solace is a great Bond film and a very solid third act to Casino Royale. Mathieu Amalric plays one of the best Bond villains as well. Never understood the hate it gets.

Spectre is a solid Bond film as well.

I do love Skyfall but it does bother me how insanely flawed that and Spectre are. It's like Sam Mendes wasn't paying much attention to detail at all.

Licence to Kill is my favorite Bond film though. I've only ever really cared for that one and the Daniel Craig Bond films. All the rest always came off as really corny to me.

that part makes perfect sense since all of those films have a similar style to them (more serious, more gritty).

I don't like James Bond movies. Have I seen every Bond film? No. But I've seen many over the years, and it's just not my thing.

Skyfall was very nicely done until the very end. I really wanted to see a bigger finale between Bond and Silva. I felt robbed with way Silva went down.

Casino Royale is the best Bond for me. The poker scenes bogged down the film for me, but some of the action was fantastic in this movie. It felt real, rugged and exhilarating.

Best thing about Spectre was the opening sequence. I can't believe that was all shot in one sitting.

Same. I only got into the recent Craig ones. The Brosnan movies are borderline unwatchable to me. Its not a good sign when Austin Powers movies are more realistic.

Your name and post just made me realise Lawrence would make a great bond girl.

Bond girls. Are we still allowed to call them that? Bond people?

All of the Bond movies are great. Some are better than others but they are all better than most other films. Even Moonraker. If you don't like Moonraker I will cut you.

I think Bondages is appropriate.
