If you're really worried about it, it's also a perfect size to store in a fireproof safe when not in use. A fire doesn't care how many cases it has to carry several blocks down the road, it just breaks them up into little pieces and lets the wind take over..

How many folks with 100+ blurays actually rewatch even half of their collection more than a few times aside from the odd few they can't stop watching? That's a hell of a lot of TV time. Really, the biggest thing you lose is the selection for folks who come over to pick a movie - and they'll get over it.

I was like you though.. throwing out all my 'collectable' cases hurt the first time. Even the season box sets and all their inserts went. I got over it. And now I have less clutter.

I don't necessarily agree with you about throwing out the Blu-ray cases and storing them the way you do, but I like your laissez-faire attitude about the whole thing. You're absolutely right in that it is only STUFF. There are many more important things in life than Blu-ray discs (with or without cases).
