Showtime is a pretty decent buddy cop film I would've liked a sequel to. Better than a lot of De Niro and Murphy's later stuff.

For some reason, the DVD of that said film ended up at my place. I think I still have it somewhere. I never bought it, but I remember that me and a friend watched it at his place when it just came out. I also remember that it was pretty horrible. Looking at the reception it got, you absolutely have an unpopular opinion about it at least.

Wayne's World 2 is a solid sequel.

I’d love to see a remake of The Matrix without the cheesy pretentiousness and with actors who are actually decent martial artists.

Also, Toy Story 4 looks like a soulless cash-grab.

That indian guys ass, jim Morrison impersonator and the waynestock plot are some serious daggers but chris Farley and christopher walken can elevate terrible material. Still its so far below the original I have to say its pretty awful.

Every movie is a "cash-grab". Movies cost money, and the people who invested their money want to make it back, plus a profit. Simple as that.

Del Preston saves it.

So there, I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweet shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweet shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son that's a different story altogether.....I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really, but sure enough I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.

I was going to say that Chris Farley screaming "SAIGON *****" 50 times saved the movie but that is in the Norm led masterpiece Dirty Work.

Part 2 is a fairly bad sequel, but considering everything Mike Myers pulled, it's a wonder it turned out to be halfway watchable. For those interested, you can find the stories pretty easily. They may even be on Wikipedia.

Preston was absolutely the best part. I can't remember the actor's name at the moment (Ralph Brown, maybe?), but he was also excellent in Alien3 and The Crying Game.
