Have any of you read this book?

The movie was great but the book goes so much more into his madness. Bale did a phenomenal job bringing this character to the screen.

Too many great lines but my favorite is probably (in the movie when he is going through his morning routine:

...."I simply am not there."

or:

He says to Kimball:

"he was part of that whole, uh, Yale thing."

the book is so ridiculous! i couldn't believe how much more detailed it was

interesting read though, and agreed bale pulled it off well

YEAH REALLY! I expected it to be graphic but my God...there's some stuff in there that is truly upsetting as you actually read the page.

there is a sequel--a TERRIBLE sequel--that has absolutely nothign to do with the first movie's storyline save for mentioning patrick bateman's name once. none of the original cast is in it. it's probably one of the worst movies i've ever seen

I voted for holly jolly christmas because recently it's what me and my equally obsessed friend have said the most, but really I'd vote for

about a year ago I was at my cousins and he had his girlfriend and her friend over. Their first impression of me was seeing me rush in so as to not miss the opening monologue, which I enjoy for the story and delivery, but when you rush in as I did it looks like you're enjoying it for the damn amazing body Bale is showing off in that scene.

I'm not gay, and I'm not saying it's a problem to be gay, but I do regret how gay I came off when I did that.
