the book is so ridiculous! i couldn't believe how much more detailed it was

YEAH REALLY! I expected it to be graphic but my God...there's some stuff in there that is truly upsetting as you actually read the page.

I see there is a sequel does it continue where it left off in the first movie???

Edit: Never mind just looked it up and it has nothing to do with Bale's movie.

there is a sequel--a TERRIBLE sequel--that has absolutely nothign to do with the first movie's storyline save for mentioning patrick bateman's name once. none of the original cast is in it. it's probably one of the worst movies i've ever seen

I voted for holly jolly christmas because recently it's what me and my equally obsessed friend have said the most, but really I'd vote for

"Oh Africa, Brave Africa. It was a laugh riot".

There's also a prequel, Rules of Attraction (the movie came out 2 years after AP, but the book was written 4 years before AP). The book is mainly about Bateman's younger brother, and his brother's friends in college, but Pat makes an appearance.

wow i had hoped you were joking but sure enough there is a listing on imdb...although nowhere in the credits does it list patrick bateman
