Glad this is coming back in print because I missed it last time, but I hope this doesn’t mean we have to wait for Clueless’s 25th anniversary to see a reissue for that. That’s another year away.

Mean Girls went OOP because WB took over distribution for a short time, and then when that licensing deal expired Paramount never reissued it (like they did with most of the titles distributed by WB for those 4 years).

Didn't think it'd be out of print for long, but unless it's got amazing new bonus stuff or 4K, I'll stick with the original one I had. That's just too much pink in one place, I like the gray background one more lol

I'd be surprised if there's nothing regarding the musical as bonus features, but that's not going to make me want it.

Yea, they dropped the ball here. Don't get me wrong. I'm buying it since I only have the DVD, but 4K would have been nice.

Being that Mean Girls was released on April 30, 2004, and that April 30 falls on a Tuesday this year, it would be fitting if this 15th anniversary Blu-ray had been scheduled for April 30, 2019.

Well, this is by far Lindsay's best movie (although I enjoy Freaky Friday too), and while her performance is very good, she isn't even the most memorable part of the movie. This is Rachel McAdams' show IMO. Also, this was back before Lindsay wrecked her own life, career, and reputation, when she was still capable of being a solid and dependable actress.

I'm at the point in my collecting life that a pink Blu-ray case for Mean Girls is a legitimate selling point (lol), but no Paramount, nice try.

Not unless you add a featurette or three.

Ha ha. I was gonna bid on a couple Blus with pink cases on eBay recently to swap into my Clueless but one was an expensive anime and the other I forgot! But now I agree with what kevin87 said about this one: it would be a bit too much pink (and pink was more this movie's theme anyway).

As for my Mean Girls, I took an HD DVD case and removed the logo with Goof Off so it matches the text. Pretty fetch, huh?
