Is the animated movie universe...fixing itself somehow? If so, then maybe it can bring Ras Al Ghoul and Mad Hatter back to life?

i didn't say it was a good explanation just a plausible one

EDIT:
another plausible idea could be that this is a flashback film, ie he is telling the story of Hush to someone and thats why everyone has a more classical look. Again I have no idea just saying, because it is my understanding that this is in the new 52 universe. Esp since JL vs F5 is their out of universe movie that is out now.

I practically say this in any DC movie release. If you are open to reading comics and want a good collection digitally, see if your local library supports Hoopla Digital. (You will need a library card, but in some cases you can sign up online if your local library allows that)

In this case it does have the 2017 anniversary release of Hush, as well as the classic version. (not sure what is different beyond cover to be honest)
https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/11987300
https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/11356795

Has a huge back catalogue of DC comics all the way thru Rebirth, and has a lot of Marvel titles now as well.

Alternatively if you are looking to subscribe to DC Universe, there is a $.80 one month trial going on in honor of Batman's 80th anniversary. Good to sign up till 4/4.

On that note looks like DC has started making all of their DC animated releases available on the service on the date of the physical media releases.

Yeah for someone with Batman in his username, he doesn’t seem to know much about him or his stories.

Especially with all the characters going for their more classic costume designs, like Batman and Harley!

New uni’s, old uni’s, doesn’t matter to me. Just keep these DCU animated films coming!

This has got me wondering... You think Wonder Woman will be given a new costume when Bloodlines hits stores later this year? Also... Where's Huntress?

Another pic of Batman in his classic costume from the upcoming movie. Sorry I keep gushing on about this but you have NO idea how happy I am that the DC Animated Movies are moving away from the New 52 inspired designs and stories!!

I'm with you. The new 52 costumes are garbage. I hate how many great DCAU movies have to be time stamped by that crap.

Well, look at all the changes we've had in the last 3 months. Superman now sports his Reborn costume from 2017, Batman's sporting his classic costume, along with almost all his rogue's gallery, including Harley Quin's harlequin look, and who knows? Maybe Wonder Woman will get a costume upgrade in her solo movie later this year.

Just FYI, it was just confirmed by a rep from Warner Bros. that there is no set street date for this title yet, so I deleted the temp 4/16 date in our system for the time being.
