There is. It's called pauseandplay.com. They've been doing the same thing for almost 20 years now. Though to be fair it's a music site only (well, mostly).

Seems to happen from time to time. The thread I made for Backdraft was heckled into the wishlist sub-forum and then a few weeks later one of the more regular thread starters made a new thread that became "official". Maybe the same thing happened here but somehow the original thread came back from the wishlist?
